ConcePTION toolkit for designing communication campaigns

How-to guide to develop communication campaigns to stimulate reporting of medicine use in pregnancy & breastfeeding

How can we stimulate reporting of medicine use in pregnancy & breastfeeding? We have developed a step-by-step guide for developing communications campaigns to stimulate reporting of medicine use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The toolkit provides hands-on guidance for TIS-centres, health authorities and other stakeholders to support them in setting up their local, tailored campaigns.

The toolkit includes some general recommendations for how to to develop push-pull strategies and value propositions to support targeted communications that makes the toolkit useful also for delivering other messages. We are offering a step-by-step guide to tailor example messages into digital and print communications and social media campaigns.  The toolkit also includes adaptable and affordable materials for digital and print communications and social media campaigns, that can be tailored to your local context and language. The toolkit was developed with support from communications specialists, and builds on two pilot campaigns for the Bumps registry in the UK, and Pharmacovigilance Lareb in the Netherlands. To support toolkit users, we are also offering training on how to design digital campaigns, covering some of the basics for digital communications.
