E-learning for health care professionals

Health care professionals need access to trusted information about medicine safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding, to be able to provide sound advice to their patients. The ConcePTION project has developed e-learning, that will become available sometime during 2025.

The e-learning package was developed by European Teratology experts and is intended for health care professionals. It is a comprehensive educational curriculum of 11 chapters, and designed as an online interactive self-study course. There was an extensive pilot phase, during which feedback was collected to improve the course. The e-learning package is now fully drafted and is undergoing accreditation assessment by a European Accreditation Body. The package is currently hosted on the e-learning platform of an Irish University, where a pilot assessment of the eLearning Package with undergraduate pharmacy students is underway. Future sharing after accreditation and optimisation will ensure broad availability to health professionals at all stages of their career. ENTIS hope to support the e-learning package into the future to ensure that the content remains current and to respond to future issues.
